The Purchasing Finance Specialist will assist the CFO and Finance Manager in all aspects of purchasing for JABA and affiliates as well as support the finance office and administrative team.

Primary Functions:

  • Purchasing for the central office as well as all jurisdictional centers
  • Provide Support to the finance team as needed
  • Review and assist staff with supply order requests
  • Compare pricing to receive the most competitive price for products
  • Track and maintain inventory supplies
  • On an as needed basis, travel to local stores to purchase products
  • Coordinate purchases for grants
  • Review vendor contracts
  • Retain accurate records of all contracts, receipts and transactions
  • Assist during annual audits

Required Skills:

Exceptional Microsoft Suite skills as well as use of accounting software

Must be knowledgeable of state procurement laws and regulations
